Vor einigen Wochen beschlossen meine Nähkursleiterin und ich bis zum Sommer die Nähkurse auszusetzen. Auf einmal taten sich für mich nach fast 6 Jahren ganz neue Möglichkeiten auf! Weder im Laden noch zu Hause hatte ich noch einen Bereich zum Nähen. Nähte ich in den Nähkursräumen, konnte ich natürlich nichts liegen lassen! Mit Muße zu nähen, war so gut wie nicht möglich, die Nähergebnisse sahen entsprechend aus – der Frust war groß.

In den letzten Wochen habe ich mir nun dort mein Reich eingerichtet: ein Raum mit 5 Arbeitsplätzen für 4 Maschinen und einen Raum mit 2 gr0ßen Zuschneidetischen. Seither sprudeln die Ideen nur so, die Näharbeiten gelingen und es tut mir richtig gut!

Meine beiden Zuschneidetische hatten früher schöne Holzböcke von Ikea. Damals waren auch die beiden Platten noch zu einer richtig Grossen zusammengeschraubt. Sie diente mir als Ablage für die Winterstoffe, die über Sommer noch ins Winterlager zu räumen waren. Aber Winterstoffe sind schwer und irgendwann gaben die Scharniere nach und die Stoffe begruben (und zerstörten) die Holzböcke. In der ersten Not half ich mir mit leeren Saftkästen aus. Schön sieht es nicht aus, aber es ist praktisch! Denn so kann ich die Tische auch ganz schnell auf Arbeitshöhe um eine Kastenhöhe verringern

Am vergangenen Mittwoch entstanden in knapp 2 Stunden 2 Shirts nach dem Schnitt von Pattern Company 06-167, einem T-Shirt mit gerader Ausschnittkante.

Dieser eignet sich hervorragend für die Resteverwertung. Bis auf die vordere Naht von Ärmel und Vorderteil kann das Shirt komplett mit der Overlock genäht und mit der Cover (bzw. Zwillingsnadel) versäubert werden.

Für das helle Shirt reichte mein Stoffstück für das Vorder- und Rückenteil, die Ärmel mit oberer Rückenteilpartie sind aus einem zweiten unifarbenen Jersey.

Beim 2. Shirt war der unifarbene Jersey zu wenig, so dass ich ein Stück vom gemusterten Vorderteilstoff an die obere Kante des Rückteils ansetzte.

Tunika mit kreativ drapierter Ausschnittblende und gesmokter Schulter- und Rückenpartie:

Meine Stoffwahl fiel auf einen feinen, organzaartigen Leinenstoff (Art. panel 01 im Online-Shop), aus dem bei einem bekannten deutschen Hersteller Blusen hergestellt wurden. Es handelt sich um einen Rapport von 250 cm Länge und 105 cm Breite mit gegengleicher schwarzer Blumen-Stickerei am oberen Ende.

Der Stoffverbrauch für diesen Schnitt wird bei 150 cm Stoffbreite mit 2,30 m (34-40), 2,40 m (42/44) und 2,50 m (46/48) angegeben. Das Panel hat mir bei Grösse 38 gut ausgereicht.

Die Tunika ist an den beiden vorderen Schultern und am hinteren oberen Rücken etwas gesmokt. Dazu wird laut Anleitung ein Gummifaden als Unterfaden mitgenäht. Leider hat das bei mir überhaupt nicht funktioniert. Deshalb versuchte ich diverse Varianten mit dem neuen Smokgarn von Madeira, das sich bei Hitzeeinwirkung zusammenzieht und mit Falzgummi.

Bild 1: gerade Nähte in ca. 1 cm Abstand, Bild 2: zieht sich, auch im Karoabstand genäht, nicht genügend zusammen, Bild 3: bei feinerem Reihenabstand wird der Smokeffekt besser, ist aber immer noch nicht ausreichend. Da ich das Smokgarn nur in weiss zum Testen habe, kommt aber eine Verwendung für diese Bluse auch gar nicht in Frage. Bild 4: Der feine, dünne Futterstoff wird wesentlich besser zusammengezogen als mein organza-steifes Leinen. Bild 5: Der Einsatz von Falzgummi wäre für eine Ärmelraffung sicher möglich, aber oben an der Schulterpartie möchte ich es nicht einsetzen.

So blieb mir zum Schluss nur ein einfacher Zickzackstich und das Einziehen eines dünnen Gummifadens von Hand!

Nach dieser Vorbereitung werden die Schulternähte geschlossen, die Ärmel, wie immer bei den Pattern Schnitten, problemlos eingesetzt und in einem Arbeitsgang mit den Seitennähten zusammengenäht. Anstelle eines schmalen Saumes habe ich einen Rollsaum gewählt.

Der Ausschnitt wird im Original mit einem Beleg verstürzt und ein doppelt gelegter Stoffstreifen verdreht von Hand angenäht. Meine Variante besteht aus einem im schrägen Fadenlauf geschnittenen und mit Rollsaum versäuberten Streifen, den ich einfach auf die obere, versäuberte Kante aufgenäht habe.

Das Leinen knittert nach dem Waschen sehr stark, was aber den Reiz der Tunika nun ausmacht! Ich werde die Tunika zur weißen Leinenhose mit einem weißen Top tragen, denn mit einem schwarzen Top sieht man die Stickerei leider nicht.

Wie bereits in einem Beitrag angekündigt, werde ich am 23. und 24. Juni eine Auswahl meiner schönsten Stoffe im Robinson-Club Fleesensee präsentieren. Ein Abstecher über Rostock war geplant, kann aber nicht realisiert werden.

Auf meiner Strecke liegt aber Leipzig und es gibt liebe Freundinnen, die mit einem geeigneten Ladenlokal aufwarten können. Christine Manitz und Csilla Felvinczy führen dort seit einiger Zeit das Kreativ- und Strick-Café in der Dresdner Str. 82.

Der angrenzende Bürgergarten wird bei schönem Wetter mit einbezogen! Ich habe inzwischen sehr viele Kundinnen aus dem Leipziger und Dresdner Raum und freue mich deshalb besonders auf diese beiden Tage und wünsche mir, möglichst viele von Ihnen persönlich kennenzulernen!
